|USW Local 4120 represents administrative and technical staff at the University of Guelph|
On July 20th and 21st the USW National Consultation Workshop for Aboriginal Steelworkers will be held in Winnipeg. At our 2013 National Policy Conference, delegates passed a resolution calling on us to document our experience and history representing the interests of Aboriginal members, including areas for improvement. Hearing from Aboriginal Steelworkers about their union experience and your ideas and needs for the future will help us build a stronger union.
USW is inviting Steelworkers of Aboriginal ancestry, meaning First Nations, Métis, Innu, Inuit, status and non-status to this important event.
If you are of aboriginal ancestry and would like to attend, please contact the union office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 519-766-4120.
